Every gorgeous little girl deserves to be pampered on her birthday! A Pamper Party is such a fun theme that can be suited to most age groups and could include a Spa Day, Mani-Pedi Party, Girls Night In, Mummy & Me Pamper Party, Pamper Party Sleepover or Mini Make-Over get together!

Here's how to set up a beautiful pamper style party for your little one and her fabulous friends at home in 5 easy steps:

how to set up a pamper party at home

Step 1: Your Pamper Style

The first step is to decide what pamper style is best suited to the age group of your daughter and her friends. Younger girls will love a Mummy & Me Pamper Party or a Mani-Pedi party, while Tweens would love a Pamper Party Sleepover or Mini Make-Over party, and a Spa Day or Girls Night In is great for Teens, bridal showers and hens parties.

Once you have decided on your Pamper Style, write out your guest list and all the party details like date, time and location for the invitations.

Step 2: Decorations

Now that you have your invitations and guest list sorted, it’s time for the fun part to begin! Nothing says ‘pamper’ like a beauty salon, so why not turn your lounge or rumpus room into a beautiful pamper room with different stations for the girls to get involved with. When choosing the decorations, it’s best to keep the colours consistent so your party has a styled look and feel, in this case we have kept light pink as the main colour and added in touches of white and gold.

A DIY Balloon Garland kit is a great way to transform any space to give any room a fun party feeling! Easy to inflate and assemble the day before which will save you so much time as well as wow your guests with a fantastic backdrop for photos.

Tassel garlands, DIY streamer walls and banners are fantastic options for styling your pamper party. Think about different ways or areas to hang these and layer them to create a styled party look and feel.

Stylist Tip: Layering your decorations creates a styled look and feel.

We love how this Pamper Party Sleepover was styled using both a tassel garland  hung between the tents as well as a DIY balloon garland kit to give the room a party feel. Each guest had their own tray with fun things for the party.

You could also use bunches of helium balloons, mini balloons scattered on the floor or bunting to add a pop of colour to your pamper party. Plenty of options in our new Pamper Party Collection to suit all Pamper Party Styles and budgets.

Step 3: Activities and Pamper Stations

Let’s not forget one of the most important parts of planning a pamper party – the activities. The main idea of pamper party is relaxing together and having a little pampered time with your besties but you don’t need a lot to keep the girls happy, just a little planning will go a long way.

The best way to make this the perfect pamper party with minimum stress and maximum fun is to keep the girls busy with lots of activities and entertainment, don’t worry this doesn’t sound as manic as it first seems. Here are a few go-to activities you could arrange:

  • Face Mask Station
  • Makeover Station
  • Foot spa
  • Mani-Pedi or Nail Painting Station
  • Movie Hour with our Late-Night Snacks Kit – Layout cushions for the girls to sit on and create a cosy sleepover area.
  • Set up a tattoo parlour with fun temporary tattoos.

Some cute fluffy slippers, robes and hair towels, along with small water dishes for foot and hand soaks plus a few soft hand towels or facecloths are all you need. With all of these activities, you won’t have to worry about anyone being bored as there is plenty to keep a group of girls entertained for an entire afternoon or evening. Don't forget the music!

Step 4: Fun Food and Drinks

As if there wasn’t enough to plan with a pamper party already, adding food into the mix can easily make the whole process a little overwhelming. Don’t fret, your best bet is to keep the food simple and definitely don’t bother with anything complicated or that takes a lot of preparation time.

Consider serving finger foods for the girls to nibble on while they enjoy the pampering activities, more often than not they will be having way too much fun and forget about the food altogether. Here are a few ideas you can serve to eliminate hassle - sandwich platter, pizzas, vegetable sticks and dips, birthday cake and popcorn.

Use our cute pamper party paper tableware to serve the party food, with paper plates, cups and napkins you’ve got everything you need to serve a pamper party feast. For a little midnight treat, why not use our Late-Night Snacks kit and fill them up with delicious treats or popcorn for the girls to snack on while they watch a movie – a great way to keep them quiet for an hour or two so you can enjoy a moment of peace.

You could also set up a Juice Bar or serve fun milk shakes in your party cups.

Step 5: Accessories & Take Home Treats

It’s all in the details, and in this case pamper accessories. A cute idea is for all the girls to receive their own pamper party club wrist bands when they arrive as a fun party favour that they can use as a hair tie afterwards.  Or create fun memories with a cute photo booth set up, a polaroid instant camera or a instant photo printer for the girls to take fun selfies that they can take home in their cute little pamper party gift bags. These are the perfect finishing touch and a great way to give the girls little treats to take home with them like a face mask pack, nail polish or mani-pedi set.
