Blood Orange Rum Punch

This refreshing cocktail gets its shocking blood-red hue from raspberries and blood orange juice.

You'll need: 60ml white rum,  3 mint leaves, 60ml simple syrup, Juice from 1 blood orange, Juice from 1 small lime, Juice from 1/4 cup raspberries (strained) and Sparkling water.

Directions: Muddle the mint leaves and rum for about 30 seconds, then remove mint leaves. Add simple syrup and juices, stir. Top with sparkling water and serve with a poison stir stick, blood orange slice and fresh raspberries.

Spider Bite Cocktail

A creepy-crawly twist on a White Russian for Halloween.

You'll need: 60ml vanilla vodka,  60ml Kahlua, Half-and-Half (30ml milk + 30ml cream), ice. 

Directions: Add ice to cup. Add vodka and Kahlua, then finish with half-and-half, pouring slowly to keep the layered effect. Garnish with an orange or black spider ring and serve with a fun Halloween napkin.

Monster Mash Margaritas

 

You'll need: 60ml Tequila, 120ml Blood Orange Juice, 15ml lime juice, simply syrup and ice.

Directions: Combine Tequila, blood orange juice and lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. And simple syrup to taste, shake until well combined and chilled. Strain mixture over a glass of ice. Garnish with a sprig of rosemary, slice of blood orange and lime, and a poison stir stick and black striped paper straws for an extra Halloween effect. Adapted from Freutcake

Bloody Mary

You'll need: 120ml Bloody Mary Cocktail Mix, 60ml Vodka

Directions: Dry-shake and strain into a tall glass with fresh ice. Garnish with celery stalk, bell peppers, cilantro sprig, and olives stuffed with salami. Eyeballs can be made with lychee stuffed with a blueberry. Adapted from Svedka

Beetle Juice

You'll need: 30ml Vodka, 15ml Midori, 15ml Chambord, 15ml Blue Curacao, 60ml Sweet & Sour, 45ml Cranberry Juice, Ice

Directions: Fill a double old-fashioned glass with ice. To the glass add the vodka, melon liqueur, raspberry liqueur, blue curaçao, and sweet & sour. The drink should be a really pretty green colour. Pour the cranberry juice on top of the drink. You can let the juice float or stir it in for a creepy colour change. Serve with lime green striped paper straws and say Beetlejuice! Beetlejuice! You'll need: 30ml Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin 30ml Amaro Montenegro 30ml Sweet Vermouth, ice and Orange peel to garnish.
