5 Easy DIY Halloween Lollipops

Supplies

  • Tissue paper (black, green, orange, white, and purple)
  • String, ribbon or bakers twine
  • Black pipe cleaners
  • Black and white or silver sharpie markers 
  • Lollipops (eg Chuppa Chups)
  • Printable Halloween tags (click here to download)
  • Sticky Tape
  • Scissors
  • Circles template (Click here to download) or 3 different sized circular items to trace
  • Pencil for tracing circles

Directions

We’re going to break down each one of these halloween lollipops tutorials for you:

Lollipop Ghosts

  1. Fold your white tissue paper into large enough sections for your plate to fit. The one we used was 8″ across.
  2. Trace and cut out your circles.
  3. Since our tissue paper was pretty see-through, we doubled up and used 2 circles per ghost. Fold over sucker, and secure with string.
  4. Draw eyes and a mouth with the black sharpie marker.

  1. Fold your purple tissue paper into large enough sections for your plate to fit. The one we used was 6″ across.
  2. Trace and cut out your circles.
  3. Cut out approx. 3″ x 3″ black tissue paper squares for the capes.
  4. Fold purple tissue paper over sucker, place black tissue paper on the back, and secure with string.
  5. Draw eyes and a mouth with the black sharpie marker. We used the red to color in the fangs, but this is optional.

Lollipop Vampire

  1. Fold your green tissue paper into large enough sections for your plate to fit. The one we used was 6″ across.
  2. Fold your orange tissue paper into large enough sections for your plate (or cup) to fit. The one we used was 4″ across.
  3. Trace and cut out your circles.
  4. Placing the green on the bottom, and the orange circle on top, fold them in half and make a slit for your sucker stick to go through.
  5. Fold both tissue paper circles over sucker, and secure with string.
  6. Draw eyes and a mouth with the black sharpie marker.

  1. Fold your black tissue paper into large enough sections for your plate to fit. The one we used was 6″ across.
  2. Fold your green tissue paper into large enough sections for your plate (or cup) to fit. The one we used was 4″ across.
  3. Trace and cut out your circles.
  4. Placing the black on the bottom, and the green circle on top, fold them in half and make a slit for your sucker stick to go through.
  5. Fold both tissue paper circles over sucker, and secure with string.
  6. Draw eyes and a mouth with the black sharpie marker.

Lolipop monster

  1. Fold your black tissue paper into large enough sections for your plate to fit. The one we used was 6″ across.
  2. Trace and cut out your circles.
  3. Cut 2 pipe cleaners in half.
  4. Fold tissue paper over sucker, and secure with pipe cleaners by twisting 2 together to stick out on one side, and then the last 2 to stick out on the other side. Bend each “leg”.
  5. Draw eyes and a mouth with the white or silver sharpie marker.
